Welcome to the excitement and joy of commitment in marriage. As a marriage celebrant I encourage you to use your imagination to create a beautiful and memorable ceremony to celebrate your marriage.
After 30 years of experience in personal, couple and family counselling I have a deep understanding of marriage and family issues. This is a valuable foundation for conducting marriage ceremonies to assist couples of all backgrounds expressing what is important to you in your vows to one another. This wealth of experience is at your disposal as we talk about your ideas of marriage and special personal ceromony.
How I Work With You To Celebrate Your Wedding
Ceremonies can be at your choice of time and place.
You are welcome to come and discuss your ideas with me at my home office in an OBLIGATION-FREE INTERVIEW.
- Offer an obligation-free interview in my home office to discuss your hopes and ideas, and make suggestions
- When you agree to a date for your wedding we an arrange a meeting to fill obligatory paperwork and discuss our ideas and suggestions to create a beautiful ,personal and truly memorable wedding ceremony.
- A non-refundable booking fee is expected at this meeting. Payment is requested or cheque or money order as no credit facilities are available.
- I provide relevant information with ideas, questions to think about, and guidelines to assist in planning your wedding and marriage.
- Fees cover:
- 2 required interviews prior to the actual wedding date.
- All contact time with phone calls, emails, letters
- Rehearsal at venue or my office
- Completion of required paperwork
- Planning, writing, and coordination of your ceremony
- Travel time
- Copy of your ceremony to keep
- AND, of course, the ceremony itself.
- Plenty of time is allowed to arrive prior to the performance of the ceremony
- My aim is to work with you to create a memorable and joyous ceremony
- Extra services you may choose such as rose/candle/hand-fasting can be included, together with involvement of family and friends
I have ideas, reference books, and suggestions for connecting rites with candles, flowers, wine, and special ceremonies to include parents, grandparents, children and dear friends. How about balloons, butterflies, singing, music, favourite poems or songs, inclusion of family members and friends of your choice to share the memorable day. Examples:
- Rose Ceremony:Couple exchange a red rose as a symbol of their love for one another.
- Ring Ceremony: This is steeped in tradition but can be varied with words to suit you. It could include the cleansing of rings and'or the blessing of rings.
- Candle Ceremony: Lighting of candles to connect the two families of origin into a new relationship as the couple start their married life.
- Use your ideas to make your weddind day very special and personal to you.
